… The Power of a Click
OKEY ….SO TODAY I GOT MY 1st DISLIKE CLICK for my
animated web series “WONKY SHOW “on YouTube. Not a big deal I assure myself and
as usual I’d had the most awesome response “fuck you… you, disliking perv!! May
be humor in you died along with your birth. I’m going to ignore you like GOD
ignored human kind... Pheww” . But the
dislike icon seems bigger than the others and it stands there with all its
might. It felt like a huge dick in front of your face hanging, about to have
anal with you, and just to clear things for the dumb witted, let me tell you,
I’m no anal guy.
After confirming with
a scale that the “DISLIKE” icon is actually of the same size that of the “LIKE “icon,
I went on an adventure to find out (On the internet of course, who will want to
leave my comfy sofa) that ..! May be! Disliking is like liking in YouTube and I
searched accordingly in Google. Search Phrase ::
Disliking is better than liking in YouTube
( in retro scope , now It
feels like I somehow wanted to convince myself that getting dislike is a good
thing ) Found a lot of article , read a few and remembered none.
Being a wisecracker and egoistic asshole, it was really awfully
surprising for me as how a single click got me down so much. And once I
accepted it , it became worse. Fuck those blogs which said “accepting is a good
way for new begging “. I kept thinking what did I do wrong , was my show not
good enough , do I need to change it to nicer versions , sure I can do that (as
if I can do that.. blah..).
Then suddenly, a light appears, which now realize is my
table lamp which glowed like a halo to my eyes as I was way too much intoxicated,
and I realized there is no point wasting my time in things I cannot change, and
the point is I read the same thing hundreds of times in those blogs and never
understood fully until I’d the realization on my own. So this article is
actually a Salute to you Mr. Morpheus for saying “there is difference between
knowing the path and walking it “ . For the sober ones out there the connection
might seem irreverent.
So I decided I’ll
just do what I can and be myself cause its easier, and although as an artist
which I consider myself to be (cause it gives an excuse for my lazy attitude) I
want people to see and really like my show, but on any day I’ll prefer a bad critic rather than nonchalant . And I
slept peacefully. Seems like the booze really worked ;).
Get down, up, fly and
tumble... The WORLD is awesome
And tell you what, the disliking icon gets smaller
eventually and you won’t need a scale to prove it
